Proposal / Engagement Package

Service Description

This package is designed to help you capture that nervous, sweaty palm moment when you decide you propose to that special person. I spend up to two hours with you on the day of the proposal to make sure we capture every special moment that occurs before and after the question is popped. We will discuss the plan in full before the big day so that the proposer and myself are 100% on the same page. We can plan a couples shoot that turns into a surprise proposal, or I can hide in the background (sometimes with squirrels) to make it as candid as possible. A second shoot is included that gives you up to two additional hours to take engagement announcement photos. I set aside two hours to give you the opportunity to change outfits throughout the shoot, or quickly relocate to another spot. Location: While I have locations that I shoot at regularly, you should pick something that is special and has meaning for the two of you. The goal is to pick a spot that defines the people that you are and makes you happy. Time: Most of these shoots occur outdoors and you should avoid mid day hours as the lighting will be really harsh. Try to plan for an hour after sunrise or an hour before sunset. This will give you the best lighting. Here are some things to consider: Bring layers or a blanket in case the weather changes Be aware of what you and your soon to be significant other are wearing. NO NEON COLORS or big patterns NO BIG LOGOS, brand names, characters or words on clothing Compliment the location Choose accessories purposefully Be yourself and try to relax!!! Do ask me for help or suggestions if you wan to. The most important thing is making sure we are on the same page so that the special moment doesn't surprise the photographer too.
